Light the Fight – 5K Run/Walk – 2025
This is a family-friendly event — walkers, runners, and strollers are all welcomed and encouraged.
This event is designed to encourage everyone to JOIN THE FIGHT to eradicate human trafficking. We want to give you a glimpse into the life of a survivor. Along the way, there will be lit-up statistics of human trafficking, and after you’ve crossed the finish line, there will be a section set up that tells the TRUE story of a survivor of human trafficking. This will be a powerful experience for all of you, shedding LIGHT on the realities of human trafficking in our own backyard.
For the walk-through portion, viewer discretion is advised and parental guidance is encouraged. We have set this up for parents to be able to decide if they want their children to participate in this part of the event.
Come join us as we LIGHT THE FIGHT to eradicate human trafficking!

It's about the one.
…[it can feel] like this problem is too huge and this is fighting a losing battle, but then you remember it’s about the one. Because I’m one. And all the people that were instrumental in my getting out of that life and my healing, if they had said, ‘Oh I can’t solve the whole problem, so let’s just give up,’ then where would I be?
